Washing Extensions

Your extensions can last up to 3 months depending on the maintenance and care that you give your hair
while you wear your extensions.

Use a neutralizing, sulfate -free shampoo. These remove more build up from the use of styling products
while leaving your hair moisturized.

Use a leave-In conditioner to follow up your shampoos. I don't put traditional conditioners in the hair after
using shampoo because they tend to leave a residue in the hair when you wear extensions, leaving it greasy.
Instead, I saturate the hair with a little bit of a leave in conditioner to help soften the hair up.

Drying the hair thoroughly is very important to preventing mildew and odor. When wearing weaves, you should
dry the hair under a hooded dryer for at least an hour and 20 minutes after you shampoo to dry the tracks
underneath completely.

Hair should be free to move and flow, therefore I recommend to keep all styling products to a minimum.
If you must use a sheen or a light holding spray, use them sparingly to prevent weighing the hair down or
making the hair look too unnatural.

Protect and style your hair as you sleep. Pin-curling the hair works well to maintain this look, giving you
anotheroption for styling. Sleeping in a satin bonnet at night or using a satin pillow case protects your
hairstyle as well.
