The lace-front wig is the newest development in modern hair extensions. The lace front wig is invisible to the eye and the hair appears to be growing from the scalp. Lace front wigs allow you to comb the hair straight back for a natural look. these units have been around for years, having been worn by actors and other "Hollywood types". Thanks to tinseltown starlets, women everywhere are now buying lace-front wigs like there is no tomorrow.

Once a secret among celebrities, lace front wigs are now a style of choice, widely available and more affordable.

Lace front wigs are the latest fashion accessory for those women that demand the best! They are handmade of french or swiss lace material and are available in a variety of lengths, colors, densities
and hair textures. Indian Remy Hair is preferred due to the softness and tangle-free characteristics.

A lace front wig is a system made with human hair tied to a lace base/cap. The two types of lace used in full lace and lace front system are french and swiss lace. A lace front system has lace at the hairline
that is secured with liquid, cream adhesive or tape.

When the lace is adhered to the skin around the perimeter of the head, the wearer is able to obtain what is know as an invisible hairline, thus making it look as though the hair is growing out of your scalp. Full Lace Wigs are breathable, light, have natural hairlines and can be parted anywhere.

Lace Wig Attachment Instructions.

Supplied Needed: Scalp Protector, Adhesive

You can Attach your lace wig using either a liquid adhesive or a tape adhesive. You can achieve a secure hold using either method...which option you use is simply a matter of personal preference. You will be
attaching the lace front unit to your skin right below your hairline and regardless of what you use, uou need to make sure that this area is clean, free of oils and hairless, or you will not achieve a good hold.

Step 1: Prep your hairline

First, cut the lace back about half an inch away from the hairline. Be careful not to cut too close to the hair. Place the wig on your head. Position the lace wig hairline in front of your own actual hairline so you don't have to worry about the glue touching your hair.

Step 2 : Clean your hairline.

Clean your face close to the hairline ensuring that you get all areas around the perimeter. Use a non-oily soap, once you are done dap or spray your scalp protector around the perimeter of your head right below your hairline. The scalp protector protects your skin as it creates a barrier between your skin and adhesive. It also helps to
keep skin oils at bay. ( An oily skin weakens the bond and prevents the strongest hold). Allow the scalp protector to dry completely before applying the adhesive.

Step 3: Adhesive Application.

Liquid Adhesive Directions: Use the liquid adhesive very sparingly. A little goes a long way. Depending on which adhesive you choose to use, it may come with an application brush. If not, use an eye shadow brush to
apply the adhesive. Apply a thin coat of adhesive around, use a cool blow dryer for about 5-15 min untill it becomes tacky/sticky. For a stronger hold, you can put 1-2 more thin coats of adhesive. Make sure you dry the
coats in between.

It is very important to make sure the adhesive is very tack/ sticky before you apply your lace wig. Starting with the front hairline, press the lace wig unit and glued area together and apply constant pressure untill the
unit stays by itself. This may take 1 minute or longer, but be patient. Repeat the steps for the nape and sides. Before you style, please wait 15 min to allow the glue to adhere and completely dry.

Lace Wig Removal Instructions.

Supplies Needed: Lace Release, C-22 Citrus Remover, 99% Alcohol.

Spray the lace release generously on the lace where it is attached to your skin. wait a few minutes to allow the lace release to work. Do not tug or pull on the lace as this can damage the lace as well as your hair.
Once the lace loosens, spray some C-22 lightly to remove your lace wig. Just remember to never pull the lace or attempt to force it off. Once the remover has set, you should be able to roll the excess glue off
of your skin and wig.

How to wash a Lace Wig.

learning how to properly care for your wig will allow you to enjoy the unit much longer. Avoid washing your lace wig while it's still attached on your head. in order to properly care for your unit, you must shampoo and
condition it while it is on a mannequin.
