Washing Curly Hair

Shampooing

1 Before getting into the shower, gently finger-comb your hair to loosen up tangles and residue.

2 When washing your hair, treat it as if it were fine silk - delicately. Leave hair hanging down and gently massage in shaampoo starting at the roots and working down. Never pile hair on top of your head.

Conditioning

1 It's a common misconception that all conditioners squash lift. In fact, conditioner is key to creating shine and preserving hair health by adding moisture and protecting against damage.

2 For VOLUME, condition only the middle and ends of your hair where it's most susceptible to damage. For super conditioning and shine, condition the entire strand.

3 Deep conditioning is essential for curls. It creates soft, moisturized curls and helps prevent frizz. For daily treatment, use your regular conditioner. For hydration, try use a deep conditioner once a week after you shampoo.

4 Detangling is great for longer, curled strands. Always use a leave in conditioner before you use your regular styling products. This provides detangling and gentle conditioning
